Wax Assassin is the moniker of 5th generation Detroiter , known locally in Detroit to be in a dj booth around 3am, or elbow deep in the crates at the record shop. He has been hosting community oriented events coming on 5 years and founded Digging Deep as a party series and later expanded it into his own independent label. Raised on a strict diet of midwestern sounds; his all vinyl dj sets know no boundaries, ranging from detroit electro, chicago house, ghettotech, and techno, of course. On a larger scale; Wax Assassin is known on bandcamp as a powerhouse, releasing 8 projects on his own label in the year 2025, and so far releasing at least 1 project a month during the year 2026, with consistent support from underground artists all around the world. Le Schlippy is a Cleveland-based DJ known for an expansive musical knowledge and an intuitive ability to adapt to any dancefloor. Guided by instinct rather than rigidness, each set is crafted in real time, drawing from House, Techno, Electro, UK Garage, Bass, Disco, and beyond to create immersive journeys that respond to the energy of the room. Blending technical precision with improvisation, layered textures, live effects, and seamless transitions, Le Schlippy delivers hypnotic, psychedelic, and rhythm-driven performances that prioritize movement, connection, and storytelling. Having shared the stage with artists including Danny Daze, Ardalan, Soul Clap, Farsight, BEIGE, and Huey Mnemonic, they have earned a reputation for thoughtful curation and versatile performances. Hailing from Florida, Chicago, and Leipzig, Side Part uses samplers, modular synth, and effects processors to collage sounds of both peace and horror with the same careful touch. Her live electronic sets stumble between noise and techno, embodying a love-hate relationship with the clock. As a classically-trained multi-instrumentalist, she uses the electronic medium to distill her musical knowledge into a more intuitive language of rhythm and sound design. Her work draws from themes of sci-fi, spirituality, and anti-violence. She has been performing as Side Part since 2025, and is also the DJ of a radio show called Surface Detail on XCSB.
